National Potluck - 2010
|
|
Welcome to the 2010 National Potluck hosted by the Smithsonian's National Musum of the American Indian
August 1, 2010 now through February 28, 2011
|
The National Potluck is a social fundraising event where participants help raise much needed funds for the National Musuem of the American Indian (NMAI).
One of the goals of the National Museum of the American Indian is to correct the stereotypes and misunderstandings about Native peoples. This is the theme for this year's National Potluck.
All donations are tax-deductible, and funds raised through the potluck allow the NMAI to continue to provide educational and public programming and other activities for anyone who is interested in learning about Native art, history or culture.
Anyone, anywhere in the country (or world) is invited to host their own potluck fundraiser in their community. Participation is easy, fun and rewarding. To learn more about how to participate click on the About button to the left.
Everyone is invited to participate as a host or guest. Click here to register or click here to donate.
If want to mail in your donation, print a form by clicking here.
If you would like to join our free e-mail list to recieve information about the NMAI and our exhibitions, programs and events, click here.
