CORRECT!

The fastest species is the Gentoo Penguin, which can reach swimming speeds up to 22 mph.

 While they are technically flightless, they do use their wings to ‘fly’ underwater.  With wing flapping and a sleek body shape, they can achieve high speeds.

 

 

In the museum, our collection of 600 penguin specimens is used to unlock some of the mysteries of penguin evolution and the physiology/mechanics behind some of the very unique features of these unusual birds.
