  • Attention locals!

January is not exactly tourist season in Washington, so it’s the perfect time to visit the Museum and explore it at a leisurely pace. It’s cold outside, so come and spend the day. Take your time in your favorite exhibition, then stop for lunch in one of our two wonderful cafes. Explore some more, but leave time to browse through our three stores for the perfect souvenir, that hard-to-find specialty book, or unique jewelry and artwork. Consider it a one-day vacation!
