The World & Me Family Program: Get Up Close! Using Scientific Tools to See the Unseen
|
FREE ticketed event Learn more about your place in the world through explorations of nature and culture. Every second Saturday of the month, museum educators lead a program that combines a book reading, activities, and a chance to look more closely at the museum's collections. These programs are designed for Pre-K to 3rd grade. This month, families will use scientific tools like binoculars, magnifiers and microscopes to learn how close looking can unlock information about the unseen and unnoticed world around them. After a book reading, families will learn and practice observation techniques and study museum collections. Date:
