Bumble bees make the world a better place, and so can you. In celebration of Pollinator Week, we are inviting you to the Bumble Bee Blitz to help our Department of Entomology share the Museum's collection of over 44,000 bumble bee specimens.

Join us in transcribing these bumble bee records with Dr. Sean Brady and a swarm of other bee geeks, so the world can use the information to better serve these important pollinators. Bee novices are welcome!

If you have a laptop, please bring it with you on the day of the event for your personal use in the transcription effort. For participants who do not have a laptop, the Museum will have a limited number available for use.

We're sorry, the deadline for registering for this event has passed.
